We're not out of the coronavirus woods yet, and we're trying to do our bit by wearing a face mask in any and all shops. But if, like us, you just can't get on with the ill-fitting disposable numbers, and fancy adding some funk to your face, then why not treat the whole family to a dapper mask from one of these awesome small businesses? Stay safe but look snazzy with it, people.
Face Masks by Jo
Embrace your face with a cosy, colourful handmade mask by Face Masks by Jo (pictured top), but be prepared to be stopped numerous times to be asked where you got your super cool covering from! Each mask is machine washable and will cost you £10.
A Black Cat Bizniz
Now here are some super, duper masks that not only look great, but when you buy one, all proceeds go towards proton therapy for a remarkable young man named Isaac. Four-year-old Isaac has been fighting Ependymoma, a rare kind of brain cancer, since he was just five-months-old, and this essential therapy will hopefully stop the cancer from returning. Supported by the Bradley Lowery Foundation, you can also follow Isaac's journey on Instagram @isaacbluwegotyou. Message @ablackcatbizniz for more deets on how to get your mask and what funky numbers they have in stock. We think their superhero ones are very apt given what a superhero, superstar Isaac is!
Sara's Bibs and Bobs
If you get your mitts on a Sara's Bibs and Bobs face mask, you'll be getting a gorge 3ply surgical style face covering, also available with optional nose bar and latex-free elastic. Bonus points for each mask being created with EN71-3 certified fabrics, which have passed testing for heavy metals and toxic chemicals. Adult masks cost £7 each, kids are £5.50 and postage is free.
The London Masketeer

Sewma
How Bee-autiful is that hand sewn number by Sewma pictured above? Sew much so that we can't wait to have one winging its way to us for next week's new rules. All masks are made from cotton fabric, washable, come in a cool range of colours and prints, and also come with a handy little pouch to keep your mask in. Pick a plain number for £6.50, or an embroidered design for £12.

Adult masks are £7.50 each, and kids are £6.50 each.
The Party Girls Gifting
Superheroes, dinosaurs, polkadots, flowers and even Winnie the Poo, The Party Girls Gifting range of fabrics is huge! Made from 100% cotton, these girls will even whip up a matching hair bow to match if you fancy. Pop them an email with your choice of fabric and they'll help with size and price. Our own Mr 8 loves his superhero number, picture above!
Facemasks Handmade
We're crushing on Facemasks Handmade's satin little numbers right now, and might have to treat ourselves to one for when we finally get out beyond our garden for a glass of vino with our girlfriends. But until then, we're also loving the huge array of prints that come in this handmade collection for kids and adults.
Brentwood Face Masks
You can expect not only a cool kinda print when it comes to Brentwood Face Masks, but each covering is lined with cotton and is machine washable. The man folk are definitely gonna love pretending to be a pirate in that skull fabric pictured above! We also love that there are mini masks available for teeny tiny people under three years.
